This was one of the most memorable things that I did in my Buenos Aires trip! What a wonderful couple, I was invited into their home and treated to mate and a welcoming conversation. I thought that I may learn a little about Tango and maybe watch and have a small experience, but I was amazed that I really received a very personalized, intuitive and full Tango lesson that was easy and accessible. Lucas really shared his personal love of Tango, and this natural expression of the movements in a way that you can feel them as a movement pattern in yourself and in response as a kind of play with your partner. It didn't at all feel like rote steps or choreography that you had to learn in only one way. I felt very inspired that at the end of the class I really danced some of the intuitive movements of Tango in an authentic way. I loved his expressions of moving as if "offering flowers from your heart", they were memorable and inspiring. I think everyone should try a class, it gives you an idea of the spirit of Buenos Aires and the long history and tradition of Tango in a truly authentic way. Thanks so much, I will certainly recommend you to any friends who go to Buenos Aires :)

We decided that rather than just watch tango, we would try to experience tango and that’s how we met Lucas and Berenice. We were rewarded with their infectious, enthusiastic love and passion for tango. We are not dancers AT ALL, and we didn’t go with the intention of learning tango, but learning something about it. In their living room studio, Lucas and Berenice gave us insight into the essence and some of the language of tango (we learned a few steps!), it’s history and what it means to Argentina--Buenos Aires in particular. Their four year-old daughter is also an enthusiastic dancer and we were lucky to have her join us as well! All in all, this was some of the best fun we had in all our trip to Buenos Aires.

This was frankly my best experience ever! Lucas and Berenice along with their daughter are a lovely family and they genuinely cared for us a lot! We started off with cookies and mate, did 1.5 hours of connection Tango and then had a very hearty dinner with variety of pizza and very nice Argentine wine. Lucas amd Berenice also did a Tango performance for us! What stood out for us what that Lucas is really passionate about Tango and he adapted his classes for all of us who were doing this for the first time and ensured we were all comfortable and enjoying it. Both Lucas and Berenice really cared for us throughout and also gave us a nice souvenir as a gift. It was the most authentic experience we could have had and the most loving one too!

We met Bere and Lucas during our short visit to Buenos Aires and were totally charmed by tango! We live in Germany and are a mixed German+Argentinean couple. As Argentinean I never really got the feeling for dancing tango and my German partner always wanted to try but never had the chance before. After 2 hours with them, we grasped the core and soul of tango, and now we are completely hooked!

They opened the doors of their home, the way one receives friends in Argentina, with mates and some typical alfajores.

Then they explained about the origins of tango, with stories and circumstances that generated it, we understood what's important about it, the communication, the subtle movements, the required connection between the dancers, and then we started some light excercises to dance.

They put and transmit so much passion in what they do, that it's difficult not to get to love it!

We want to keep dancing when we get back home, and get deeper and deeper into the tango world.

5 stars! This experience was exceptional and a highlight during our time in Buenos Aires. My husband and I didn't have any experience with tango, and by the end of the night, we were dancing at a local milonga. We had so much fun! Lucas and Bernice made us feel very comfortable and welcome and were fantastic teachers. We also enjoyed the mate and the beginning, and the pizza and wine before going out! Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to learn about tango.

We found this wonderful tango experience on our last night in Buenos Aires. I only wish I found it earlier on. I would have loved to have more of this experience. We were greeted by Lucas and his (incredibly) beautiful wife Berenice in their home/dance studio. They clearly have years of dance experience, and teach an organic way of dancing the tango, with no strict choreography, etc. First we were treated to Yerba Mate, a traditional tea-like beverage, along with information on how to make and share this. My friend and I, along with another participant traveling from Brazil were then escorted to the dance area, where we were taught the basics of the dance in a very supportive way. We did some practice dance with each other and with them. We then took turns dancing with Lucas while Berenice made us several delicious pizzas. Lucas and Berenice also have a lovely 14 month old little girl, who cheerfully shared her parents with us. (One of their friends then came to baby sit while they led the dance class.)

I highly recommend this night of tango to dancers and non dancers alike. Even if you never taken a formal dance class or if you feel that you are not a dancer, you will still get something out of this. This was certainly one of the highlights of my trip! I highly recommend this!

Absolutely divine experience.

I was welcomed by Lucas and his partner Berenice (wonderful), and we sat down around a mate. I had the opportunity to ask questions and truly discover what tango is all about.

The practice was just as enjoyable: no judgment, only kindness and care from Lucas and Berenice during the class. It was a real pleasure to begin with them.

Lucas is a passionate person who told me the history of tango in a detailed yet concise manner, which helped me better understand this art.

I highly recommend this experience, no regrets.

The evening with Lucas and Berenice was incredibly beautiful! They are both very open and made me feel very welcome. Even though I don't speak Spanish, they explained everything to me in English. It was the perfect mix of getting to know each other, excellent teaching, eating delicious pizza together, drinking wine, and then enjoying a milonga. I recommend meeting both of them and taking lessons with them. They have a wealth of knowledge and are great tango dancers!

You cannot leave Argentina without enjoying tango, and Lucas and Bere made the experience incredible.

You can feel the love and passion they have for sharing part of their culture, and the entire experience was very personal and fun. I seriously cannot recommend enough the great treatment they gave me and how they helped me reconnect with dance. It was a truly magical experience.
